Qualifications and Credentials
2 to 4 years of hands-on experience
* C++ on Microsoft windows platform
* Multi-threading concepts, COM/DCOM, COM+
* Debugging software and system issues
* Responding to customer and/or client requests or events as they occur
* Developing solutions to problems utilizing formal education, judgment, and formal software process
* Demonstrate strong problem solving skills and communication skills
* Writing commercial-grade customer-facing applications
* Working with high volume transaction based systems
* Excellent skills in writing, maintaining, testing and debugging code in applicable programming languages
* Understand high level documents
* Prepare and maintain low level documents
* Handle coding/testing/packaging for assigned tasks with some level of guidance
* Prepare environment setup for assigned task with minimal guidance
* Understand and follow best practices (for example: coding guidelines), applicable processes and tools.
* Ensures timely delivery and quality of the deliverables for the assigned work.
* Should have analytical and troubleshooting skills
* Contribute to feature development including design, coding, unit testing
* Take up triaged defects and customer enhancements
* Comply with defined engineering process, standards and guidelines
* Own and resolve the bugs/defects reported against the modules
* Preferably possess 1 or more Microsoft Certifications
* Real world experience working with Agile/Scrum methodology- must have been part of 2-3 projects with this SDLC
* Fulltime Bachelor and/or Master degree or Fulltime MCA in engineering with a minimum of 60% grade
* The ability to work independently and in small teams, partner effectively cross-group, and manage multiple priorities and deliverables concurrently
* Demonstrated ability and experience in the entire product development cycle: from design, implementation, and debugging, to shipping and maintenance.
