This is an afternoon position with a training schedule of 12:00pm - 8:30pm
Engage Service Core Account Managers respond to general customer inquiries and concerns. All Engage Service Core employees have aggressive call handling requirements that balance efficiency with effective resolution of customer inquiries. Employees will follow a proven call strategy allowing them to maintain call quality while effectively managing their call handling time.Employees are expected to efficiently resolve inbound service inquiries from cardmembers, promote card features and benefits which deepen engagement and promote self-servicing, and offer products and services when appropriate. Customers directed to this group are strategically segmented based on responsiveness to sales offers.Employees are provided with advanced call handling training and tactics to improve performance.Successful employees excel at quickly understanding the reason for the customers inquiry, building rapport, presenting solutions, building trust and loyalty, and expeditiously closing the call. Ideal candidates will have a clear understanding of Discovers policies and procedures. Engage Service Core employees have a positive outlook and a strong desire to provide quality customer service. Successful Engage Service Core employees work well in a high energy, fast-paced, service-oriented environment.

Excellent communication, negotiation, active listening, and complex problem solving skills.
Must provide excellent customer service to create memorable experiences.
Ability to work in a fast paced, goal oriented environment while ensuring compliance with department policies and procedures.
High level of enthusiasm and professionalism.
Must be flexible and adaptable to changing business needs.
Must be willing to learn and promote card usage to our customers.
Ability to effectively work in a team environment, and demonstrated proficiency with computer systems and equipment.
