Position Summary:

Provides guidance in processing daily work flow through the orderly receipt, picking, and loading of product according to company policies and Preferred Work Methods. Maintains the warehouse in a safe and sanitary manner. Must be able to work any days or hours as required

Core dats are Sunday-Thursday Nights.

Responsibilities:

Assists with the training and coaching of new and existing associates. Resolve issues quickly and accurately using tact and professionalism according to company policies and procedures. Receives incoming product and checks against purchase order to ensure accuracy. Ensures all merchandise is properly tallied and a receiving date is entered into SWMS. Checks temperature level on all inbound merchandise requiring refrigeration. Enters all relevant information into SWMS. Ensures all slots are stocked properly and all overstock is properly stacked. Rotates all applicable stock by code date and receiving date as determined by SWMS. Informs supervisor of any merchandise that is damaged. Selects product for shipping as defined on the SWMS. Operates all Company warehouse equipment in a safe and reliable manner. Reports all equipment failures to supervisor immediately. Ensures that warehouse is maintained in a sanitary manner according to Company standards. Communicates in an effective manner, both orally and in writing, with warehouse personnel, supervisors, and management. Completes projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent and three years of warehouse experience. Must be able to effectively communicate (including reading, writing and speaking) in English. Must be able to operate all equipment in warehouse with proficiency. Must be able to critically think with ease under pressure to resolve issues.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Work is heavy in nature. Must be able to safely lift 50 lbs. frequently and up to 75 lbs.occasionally. Forklift operation requires the ability to hear warehouse activity. MENTAL/VISUAL DEMANDS

Must be able to read at a distance close to the eyes and at arm's length, with or without correction. Forklift operation requires distance vision.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Activities occur both inside (protected from weather conditions but not temperature changes) and outside. Employee is subjected to extreme cold during freezer work and extreme heat dueto seasonal outside conditions. Hazardous conditions may exist, such as proximity to movingMechanical parts, exposure to dust, electrical current and working in high places.

EQUIPMENT OPERATED

Fax, copier, computer, forklift, floor scrubber, battery changer, RF unit and pallet jack
