Construction Project Manager - Full-time / Part-time

Project Manager opening for a very large, well-established general contractor who is partnering with BBVA to help re-brand their retail stores and banks in Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi and Florida. My client acts as the General Contractor to complete these projects. Candidates will be primarily responsible for overseeing the surveys, material procurement, subcontractor selection and quality control of these projects. Each job should take 3 to 6 weeks to complete, depending on the size. Candidate will work from home primarily, but will be responsible for occassional site visits in Georgia and surrounding states. Normal work hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, but candidates must be open to working occasional weekends depending on job progress.

Any and all travel expenses are paid for and reimbursed through Aerotek. Pay is flexible depending on experience. Any overtime hours for the week are paid at 1.5x rate.

Job Description/Daily Responsibilities:

• Building the schedule and phasing plans
• Daily construction meetings
• Quality Control - oversee subcontractor work
• Communicate with clients on site if any issues arise
• Take field pictures with iPad/iPhone
• Put together RFPs for new jobs
• Electronically tracking quantities
• Coordinate with Operations Manager and Customer (BBVA)
• Document invoicing and other paperwork as required

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Construction Management or related field
• +3 years project management experience
• Great communication skills
