As a Senior Test Automation Engineer in the Supply Chain Portfolio, Distribution team, you will design and develop innovative testing solutions that ensure our applications and services perform for our Distribution business areas. You will have opportunities to work on challenging projects that drive strategic business initiatives and help drive the DevOps testing formation for the platform.

  • Drive test automation strategy within the Distribution Portfolio and influence common automation practices within Target Technology Services in an Agile development environment
  • Research and develop new automation framework
  • Create and maintain scripts for the Distribution Automated repository
  • Champion new test automation tools, ideas and approaches with the Shared Automation team and project stakeholders
  • Coach and mentor other QA engineer’s on automation approach
  • Partner with BA’s and business to ensure appropriate script coverage
  • Lead vendor work direction and ensure automation strategy and standards are adhered to
  • Create a strategy for test automation reports and metrics
  • Collaborate with Development teams, Non-Production Environment team and other engineers for Environment management and data needs
  • Provide testing strategy and QA leadership to various projects and programs within the Distribution portfolio.
  • Drive technical quality, stability and scalability of solutions

Requirements
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience
  • 5-7+ years total work experience
  • Has in-depth knowledge of automated Testing approaches and frameworks
  • Hands on experience scripting and developing test automation suites
  • Maintains technical knowledge within areas of expertise
  • Stays current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education

Qualified Candidates Will Bring

  • 4+ years working with test automation tools. (Selenium preferred)
  • Knowledge of QTP, Cucumber, Calabash and Jenkins
  • Familiar with CI/CD and DevOps concepts and best practices
  • Experience working with offshore teams
  • Experience working with Agile, waterfall and iterative methodologies
  • Familiar with Testing, Development and agile tools like HP QC, MSTFS and Version One
  • Experience with device, mobile and web based testing
  • Knowledge of Java, XML, SQL and Git
  • Excellent Analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills
