Administrative Assistant - Independent Contractor
Busy non-profit office seeking full-time temporary Administrative Assistant (Independent Contractor) for about 12 weeks.The position requires no more than a 40 hour work week, Monday through Friday - 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (flexible on hours).
Availability to start immediately for training - about 20 hours/week, M-Thurs (8 - 1 pm)
Transition to full-time upon leave of trainer.
Individuals must have:
* A minimum of 2 years of office experience.
* Must be able to use office equipment.
* Intermediate knowledge in MS Word, Excel, Outlook 2013
* Quickbooks Non-Profit 2007 experience (or similar)
* Must be a quick learner for other programs utilized
* Excellent ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize is a must.
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
* Processing and recording checks and donations (incoming and outgoing)
* Bank Reconciliations
* Basic web updates (drag and drop program)
* Taking minutes at Board Meetings (Once a month only)
* General equipment/office maintenance and duties - answering phones, checking messages, filing, etc.
Gross Pay depends on qualifications:Starting Pay is $20/hour (inclusive of GET).Pay will increase sometime after training to be discussed with President.
