About this job

The On-mountian Custodial Attendant is responsible to perform various custodial and/or housekeeping tasks around the resort. This position requires that you ski or ride around the mountain to complete cleaning tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:
  • Perform regular custodial and housekeeping duties.
  • Empty trash receptacles and pick up litter in and around the resort facilities, while additionally cleaning resort facilities, including: cleaning and stocking bathrooms, cleaning floors, vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, and mopping, as needed.
  • Follow established health and safety procedures for using cleaning chemicals, etc.
  • Align furniture, pictures and furnishings.
  • Wash windows, wall, tables, and the like.
  • Perform some routine inspection and maintenance of electrical, heating and ventilating equipment.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to bend, lift and carry heavy objects.
  • Ability to work inclement weather at times.


QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School education or equivalent desirable.
  • Previous housekeeping/custodial experience preferred.
  • Good knowledge and skills in housekeeping and custodial work, including applicable safety procedures.
  • Ability to perform all job duties.
  • Prefer the ability to ski or snowboard on level blue runs.
