Primary Responsibilities:

Seeking a confident health lawyer to be in-house at a large and growing healthcare management company and independent practice association arranging for the delivery of care in a quickly changing healthcare market located in Southern California
Experience with accountable care organizations and California's Department of Managed Health Care a plus
The position will include working with senior management of the organization, developing relationships with the DMHC, collaborating with colleagues across the nation, and providing advice on contract structure, negotiations, and regulatory compliance for network providers and clinical practices
Successful candidate will be part of a collaborative team of attorneys and support staff in a growing healthcare business

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Ability to work from Ontario, CA Office
Law degree from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in California or the ability to waive into California prior to commencement
5+ years of experience representing integrated systems, IPAs, limited Knox-Keene entities, physician practice groups or provider networks
Strong knowledge of state and federal health laws, including Knox-Keene, anti-kickback, Stark, the Patient Protection and Accountable Care Act, and privacy laws
