As a Project Manager, you will be a key member of the Business Development and Implementation team within UCS supporting our commercial and government businesses. In this role, you will have the opportunity to partner with key stakeholders to implement solutions that support business driven needs including system enhancements, new business/growth and migrations. Primary Responsibilities:

Lead or help deploy projects for new business implementation, technology enhancements, migrations, and process improvements
Provide expertise in project scope definition, risk identification, project methodology, resource allocation, facilitation, and other areas based on established project management techniques
Identify/analyze project requirements and track appropriately
Develop, communicate and implement project risk/issue management plan and strategies
Collaborate with others to ensure that a successful transition plan is achieved
Provide directives on projects to identify best practices, drive standardization and optimization to improve performance and/or create efficiencies
Provide subject matter expertise in various functional areas for clinical applications and tools as well as in various other business segments (i.e. Optum, Network, Claims, and Account Management)
Establish a standardized communication methodology for interacting with business partners, stakeholders and project teams
Support documentation changes and process flows during clinical implementations & alignments, which may include review of standards & processes with document revisions, as needed that incorporate applicable best practices with proven outcome
Partner with the Document Oversight Team to create/maintain project documentation needs
Partner with the National Training team to create training documentation
Maintain well-organized, detailed project documentation where easily accessible to others
 

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
4+ years of experience in the Healthcare Industry
2+ years of project management experience
2+ years of experience in tracking, planning projects, working with large data sets and making data-driven analytical decisions
Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint
Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely
Excellent leadership, time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to mitigate identified gaps appropriately so that goals are achieved without negative impacts to other business segments
Holistic knowledge of UCS landscape serving all lines of business with understanding of how the work we do and how it impacts the work of our business partners
Knowledge of clinical applications/tools, which can include CareOne, ICUE and the member and provider portals
Understanding of the balance between clinical and business priorities
Ability to map current state/future state and identify gaps
Proven ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely to all levels of the organization
4+ years of experience in business process improvement projects including process solutions and end to end process documentation
