We are currently accepting applications for consideration towards a senior Administrative Assistant position in Automotive Division, a part of 3M's Industrial Business. This Administrative Assistant will support operations by handling a wide variety of administrative duties for Emission Solutions, Fuel Efficiency Systems, Acoustics, Film, and Lighting Laboratory Managers.

The Administrative Assistant for the Automotive Division will support a team of 35-40 individuals within the Lab & Technical area. The candidate that fills this role will provide general administrative skills including meeting coordination, travel arrangement, completion of special projects and other assignments as requested. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting a variety of teams and will be comfortable making decisions and working proactively to support the teamThe individual that fills this role will be responsible for the following items:

1. PeopleSoft:
- Asset Audit Lead for multiple departments and locations
- Enter and process e-AFE's to scrap asset equipment
- Expense voucher s
- Non-PO vouchers
- P-Card purchases
- Processing Purchase Requests (POs) in a timely manner
- Working with 3M Buyer to resolve matching exceptions and processing change inquires
- Work with vendors to help resolve PO / payment delays

2. Reflections Applications:
- COMS
- Back orders
- Ship notices
- Maintain Tracking & Die List spreadsheets

3. General IT Requests:
- Procurement of computers and monitors
- Maintain phone and distribution lists
- Procure and maintain inventory and supplies (both general and lab)
- Set-up new employees - coordinate facilities, telecomm, IT, AREQ arrangements prior to arrival
- Software (eRFE requests) / Chemical Requests
- Process Safety Requests: safety shoes and safety prescriptions

4. Other:
- Create PowerPoint presentations
- Coordination of 3M Customer visits
- Coordination of domestic and international travel
- Serve as the Emergency Evacuation Coordinator
- Plan various team activities (bowling, picnic, holiday parties, etc.) and handling catering needs
