Welder/Fabricator - Full-time / Part-time

SSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(Include the following. Other duties may be assigned)

• Must be able to read and follow operating instructions provided.
• Follows all quality and safety protocols
• Wear proper safety equipment
• Cleans surfaces to be welded with wire brush, carbide grinder and/or alcohol
• Positions parts in jigs or fixtures and tack welds assembly together
• Select torch, torch tip, and filler wire according to operation instruction or work router
• Assemble argon hoses and plugs to achieve proper purge
• Perform minor preventative maintenance on welding equipment (e.g. set gaps, dusting)
• TIG/MIG weld assemblies in the 1G or 3G position on sheet thickness up to .050" and a diameter of ¼" to 3" tube
• Inspect weld height, width, color and imperfections per operation instruction requirements
• Use borescope to inspect inside diameter welds for proper drop though, width, color and imperfections
• Fill out documentation per company requirements
• Works with a team of fabricators and/or welders to achieve production requirements
• Assists other team members with various functions other than manual welding to assist in achieving team requirements
• Performs weld repair including grinding, filling imperfections and building up metal parts
