We have a Catering Assistant/Delivery Driver opening in our bakery-café in Enfield, CT.
The Catering Assistant/Delivery Driver is responsible for taking, processing, and delivering Catering orders, interacting with clients, and communicating with the Catering Coordinator. A typical Catering Assistant/Delivery Driver schedule is 30 to 35 hours weekly, Monday-Friday, with some need for weekend flexibility due to catering orders.
This is an hourly position! Starting wage is based upon experience, plus Catering Assistants/Delivery Drivers receive delivery fees and have the potential to earn tips. The position is eligible for paid vacation based on date of hire and a 401(k) with a generous company match.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation available for business use (will be reimbursed), and state required auto insurance coverage.
- Strong communication and organization skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Ability to stand and walk majority of shift. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to pass our background check procedures, including motor vehicle history record
