Providence is calling a Quality and Performance Analyst 2 to Providence Health & Services in Burbank, CA or Renton, WA.
We are seeking a Quality and Performance Analyst 2 to provide consulting and high level analysis of multi-faceted issues within the implementation and development of applications and technologies. The analyst will use statistical, QA and SDLC methodologies to ensure technologies are implemented on schedule and perform at the highest quality in production. This position will work with teams and stakeholders to gather business requirements, build functional specifications, create data views, ensure data reliability and develop business driven design solutions.
In this position you will:
Demonstrate service excellence and positive interpersonal relationship development in dealing with others including peers, employees, managers and community members to maximize productivity and positive relations.
Promote quality assurance programs, policies, processes and procedures to ensure that performance and quality of products conform to established standards.
Organize multiple projects, schedules, demand and to meet shifting priorities.
Resolve data related problems in collaboration with quality and development team members.
Determine validity of metrics, key performance indicators and data using methods such as statistical hypothesis testing.
Ensure all change control documentation is complete and identify risks to development projects and applications in production.
Create application data models and queries using SQL and key value pairs, apply statistical methods for data analytics, and conduct business requirement gathering.
Required qualifications for this position include:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
3 years of operational experience with Quality Assurance and data analysis.
2 years' experience in writing SQL queries.
Experience with performance, scalability testing, and latency testing.
Application of statistical methodologies or statistical hypothesis testing for data analysis.
Knowledge encompassing all facets Quality Assurance and SDLC methodologies.
Experience in SQL, SharePoint, Excel, Visio, HP ALM and Microsoft TFS tools or other testing software.
Experience with application scripts, Oracle or SQL Server database environments and writing SQL queries and views.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience with applying logistic and multiple linear regressions and/or neural networks for data analysis.
