This position precisely and accurately performs routine and
special procedures in the Clinical Laboratory. Constantly observes established
quality control measures, participate in blood collection, specimen processing
and other general Laboratory functions.
Full Time position.
EDUCATION:
MLT -
Associate degree or other approved 2-year MLT program or CLIA approved.
MT -
Bachelors degree in Science or health-related field.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
ASCP
MLT or MT certified, eligible or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE:
Previous
experience as a MLT or MT preferred.
SKILLS:
Phlebotomy
skills preferred.
Basic
computer skills (word processing/spreadsheet) preferred.
Good
communication skills.
Ability
to handle multiple demands.
Good
problem-solving skills.
Ability
to work well with others.
Basic
knowledge of operation and troubleshooting of Laboratory equipment.
