About this job

Vice President, Total Rewards-150003JD Job Human Resources Primary Location United States-MA-MABoston Organization Corporate (Network)

The MENTOR Network is the leading national provider of home-based health and human services for individuals with intellectual, developmental, physical or behavioral disabilities, Acquired Brain Injuries and other special needs. Our mission is to offer adults, children, and their families innovative, quality services and supports which lead to growth and independence, regardless of the challenges they face. Our philosophy emphasizes partnerships – with those we serve, their families, employees, Mentors, payors, and the communities in which we work – in an effort to help individuals shape the direction of their own lives in community-based settings.

We offer a powerful value proposition to government and non-public payors, referral sources, and individuals and families by providing a continuum of high quality, cost-effective residential, day and vocational programs, and periodic services. A national network of local providers, we offer services through a variety of models, including (i) neighborhood group homes, primarily for IDD/DD (Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities) services; (ii) host homes, or the “Mentor” model for At-Risk Youth services, in which a client lives in the private home of a licensed caregiver, (iii) Evidence based family and children therapeutic services, (iv) specialized community-based homes to support individuals with more complex medical, physical and behavioral challenges, and (v) non-residential care, consisting primarily of day and vocational programs, offered in our IDD/DD and Adult Day Health service lines.

During our nearly 35-year history, the company has evolved from a single residential program serving at-risk youth to a diversified national network providing an array of high-quality services and care in 35 states, serving more than 12,600 clients in residential settings and more than 17,400 clients in non-residential settings. We work with a diverse group of hundreds of public payors that fund services with a combination of federal, state and local funding, as well as an increasing number of non-public payors in the newest service lines. Services are provided by close to 30,000 employees, as well as approximately 4,800 independently-contracted host home caregivers.
