Environmental Technician

We are located about 10 miles west of Wayzata, MN. We are an established environmental and industrial well drilling company. We have the need for 3 technicians to come in and join our growing team. Starting out you will be onsite doing repairs, breakdown and assembly, and cleaning on large water well pumps from the field. The next role is becoming a field technician working to install, remove and collect these well pumps in the field. Job duties for the shop and field:
Assembly of pumps, dissasembly of pumps, some light painting, water well pumps for the municipalities, working with 6" - 12" pipe and 10', shafting, wire cleaning (training if needed).
Tool experience - hand tools, air wrench, and sand blaster in shop.

Your primary and initial job duties are to re-manufacture the parts, pumps, and piping to be used again. There are are times when you will be doing general labor type duties like shop maintenance. YOU MUST BE OK WITH THIS, we try to keep everyone busy to make sure you get 40 hour, if not more.

As a Field Techinician: taking the pumps out of the ground and the piping or installing the pumps and the piping. They have a rig that is handling the lifting of the pumps and pipe and the field workers are assembling them on site with the help of the crew. Our people will be assisting.

Hours - 7:00 - 4:30 (if weather permits) could be some OT if they go in the field.
