Job Description
A Shakey's Restaurant Assistant Manager assists the General Manager by taking on an active role in providing an outstanding Shakey's guest experience, building the team with the very best people, serving a high quality consistent product, ensuring sound financial results and upholding Shakey's Standards. The Assistant Manager will assists with restaurant opening and closing, cash handling, inventory control, staffing levels, scheduling and serves as Manager-in-Charge, in the absence of the General Manager. This position requires that you stand and walk for long periods of time, stoop, bend, twist, reach, crouch, push, pull and continuously use fingers and wrists. Must be able to regularly lift or carry up to 30 lbs, frequently lift or carry 40 lbs., and occasionally lift or carry 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities also required. A qualified candidate must have 2-4 years of management experience in a restaurant or retail environment. ServSafe certification is preferred. Must be 21 years or older.
