Job Description:
Gerneral labor position to includes machine operation, production and 5s. Assisting maintenance techs in various preventive measures to assure work orders are completed on time. Will be responsible for operating multiple machines on a daily basis with a cycle time of 6 seconds.
Work Environment:
As one of the world's most respected manufacturers of automotive components, this is an extremely fast paced work environment. Tier 1 automotive supplier of electronic controls, fuel management systems, and meters. Candidates will be working within a climate controlled building. They will be expected to keep it neat and clean because of the new machinery and the organization that goes into building them.
Qualifications:
1-3 Years Machine Operator/General Production/Assembly experience. Attendance is critical and absenteeism, tardiness will not be tolerated. Mechanical background is a must. If they have worked on their cars in their spare time they will be considered.
Performance Expectations:
Show up to work on time every day and work well as part of a team as well as independently.
Cycle time is 6 seconds and expected to perform 80+ quality checks. Will be responsible for identifying issues(welds, etc) and being able to fix the problem if one exists. Interview Information:
Wll be asking about past jobs, Hobbies, what they do outside of work. Any experience working with Machines.
Critical is Production goals. Cycle time is 6 seconds so they have to have specific producion goals that they have met in the past to be considered Additional Compensation: Once full time, employees are elegible for great benefits/holiday/vacation.
