We're currently seeking a Strategic Business Planner 3 for a contract opportunity in Orlando,FL. This is a great opportunity to work with one of the world’s leading suppliers of a wide range of products, solutions and services in the field of energy technology.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Works in Project Management in both accounting and finance role and project scheduling role (dual role). Perform risk evaluation, control techniques and business impact analysis to properly plan for disasters and financially threatening circumstances. Develop business continuity strategies, emergency response policies and operational business continuity plans to deal with these potentially threatening circumstances. Provide oversight of the planned policies and procedures. Conduct meetings and presentations on the subject of risk/schedule mitigation. Inform Project Manager on forecasted costs for monthly reporting and cost management. Create and maintain project schedule and inform Project Manager of any changes to critical path; proactively plan for recovery from schedule delays. Detailed Job Description / Capabilities: Working as both a scheduler and cost forecaster on new Wind Turbine installation projects. Primavera scheduling skills required PMP Certification preferred SAP experience preferred 60% time spent on cost forecasting for installation and project management cost elements on projects 40% time spent on creating and maintaining project schedule in Primavera on projects Project Schedules that are created, reviewed and/or maintained: - Detailed Project Schedule ? Contract (P6) - Detailed Project Schedule ? Target (P6) - Look-Ahead Schedule (P6) - Summary Schedule (P6) - Project Status Meeting Progress Curve (Excel) - Load Plan (Excel) Project Cost Forecasting Involves maintaining or reviewing or completing: - SAP Actual Charges - SAP Cumulative Charges - PO Status - Non Conformance Reporting Status, Revision and Close-out - EAC Spreadsheet - Office and Site Man-hours - Project Management, Installation and Commissioning Order Income Calculation Preparation
