Extrusion Operator

Manpower in Easton PA is currently seeking a 2nd & 3rd shift extruder operator's. This is an temp to perm opportunity with benefits after 90 days. Pay Rate: $12.00 / hour DESCRIPTION: Under limited supervision, sets up and operator extrusion line and tapping machine, adjusting the line speed, and controlling heat profiles ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: *Sets up and operates the extruder, injection molding machines, and automatic taping machines ensuring that parts produced are consistent with established standards of quality. *Adjusts and calibrates the blender to assure proper blend of materials. *Changes dies, screws, rolls, and dialups on the extruder. *Sets up and operates extruding equipment, manufacturing extruded plastics sheets, as required. *Brings granulated material to the dryer hopper, and feeds the hopper in an efficient manner. *Insures that a steady supply of plastic is delivered from the dryer hopper to extruder hopper by monitoring the flow of plastic as required. *Take instrument readings on extruder periodically and makes adjustments as required. JOB REQUIREMENTS: *High School diploma or GED *Successfully pass physical, drug screen and background check
