PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analysis of legacy hosting environment establishing "as-is" configuration. Design and implementation of "to-be" hosting configuration within AWS environment meeting and exceeding all FedRAM/NIST-800 53 requirements. Support of transition of legacy applications from current hosting ("as-is") to new AWS hosting ("to-be") environment. The legacy hosting environment consists of TCP/IP V4 network, Cisco devices for routing, gateways, Intrusion Protect/Detection. Servers are a mix of vendors, operating systems will include Windows Server 20XX (08, 10 and 12), RHEL and Solaris. Target environment will use Cisco appliances to include routers, gateways, Intrusion Protect/Detection devices, F5 and other tools as appropriate to implement and sustain an operational environment spanning multiple AWS availability zones. Support of all engineering and design associated with support of application modernization, onboarding and retirement following initial transition within AWS.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree
3 - 5 years of job related experience
ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Past experience supporting data/hosting center. Ideally, within both traditional data center and AWS environments.
Configuration of network within FedRAMP/NIST 800-53 standards compliant domain.
