Job Description - Business Development Specialist
Title/Description: Business Development Specialist
Reports to: Director, Business Development (South West) Position: Commission, plus minimum wage base. (OTE of 130k with no cap) Location: Phoenix Metro Area - AZ
Hours: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, flexibility required
Commission: 10% of Gross sale, paid monthly upon received payment from client.
Overall Responsibilities The Business Development Specialist is responsible for driving new business for our Public Wi-Fi Division, with a focus on presenting and closing pre-established product packages. This is a HUNTER role and heavily commission weighted. Please do not apply if you are looking for an Account Management position.
Duties Internal
Contribute to internal staff professional development.
Coordinate with Director, Business Development South West Region to ensure quarterly goals are being met.
Contribute to actively marketing and increasing company profile.
Maintain and continually evaluate effectiveness of AMI sales process.
External
Consult with clients and present Public Wi-Fi packages.
Present advertising bundles to local merchants for banner advertising within the Wi-Fi network.
Build strategic and key business relationships.
Actively implement and follow the AMI sales process to attract and retain new & existing clients.
Skills/Qualifications/Knowledge required
Sales Experience preferred.
Experience with Sales Force CRM would be beneficial.
Project management experience would be advantageous.
Basic knowledge of PC hardware and software.
Characteristics/Attitude required
Customer Service focused.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive approach to problem resolution.
An ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Willingness to work additional hours and weekends when necessary.
Self-motivated, committed and of high integrity.
Team player.
Key Objectives
Primary Objective is generating new business and sales.
Meet expected deadlines and sales goals.
Demonstrate at all times an unparalleled customer focus.
Demonstrate solid team work when required.
Complete all tasks as per AMI standards and policies.
