Our healthcare client in Waltham, MA (relocating to Bedford, MA in October 2015) is seeking (5) Data Entry/Registrar Specialists to start ASAP.

Must Haves:
1 - Communicate very well over the phone and in email. Professionalism at all times
2 - Able to work at a fast pace and keep organized within computer systems
3- Excited to work in healthcare/customer service setting with large team (35-40 people full time on this team)
4 - HS Degree/GED or above


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Working daily with registering new healthcare providers (physicians, doctors, clinics) to make sure they are in compliance and able to clear to work under network
  • Classify, screen and route incoming submissions. Analyze provider information in the system of record to make Imaging and Workflow field selections, contract determinations and file routing decisions. Accurately create electronic tracking records for appropriate submissions and include such detail as the system of record reference numbers, the selection of appropriate Negotiator, unique tracking number Workflow Folder ID and attachment of submission
  • Troubleshoot accordingly, with general guidance, any electronic submissions whose format needs to be altered
  • Redirect inquiries and/or submissions not requiring updates to other various department contacts by utilizing reference materials and workflow guides
  • Communicate with internal and external senders of the submission for clarification and/or additional information as deemed necessary
  • Escalate unique issues requiring assistance to Team Leader in a timely manner
  • Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
  • Demonstrate commitment to the Company's core values.

Qualifications:

  • High School/GED required
  • 6+ months of office experience preferrably in a healthcare/medical setting to understand general terminology.
  • Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office suite
  • Team player
