About this job
This position is responsible for cleaning the OR, PACU, Endoscopy, and CSR areas, and for transporting patients to the Surgical Suite. Practices sterile techniques and standard precautions. PRN Must be available for 1st and 2nd shift.
Education: High School diploma or GED
Experience: Previous experience is not required; however, previous hospital experience or nursing assistant training will be given preference.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Heartsaver certification from approved American Heart Association training center required within 90 days of employment.
Skills: The person filling this position must have good physical and mental health. Heavy lifting is often required. Standing most of the day is required. Finger and hand dexterity is required to handle and manipulate instruments.
