Time Warner Cable currently seeks a Plant Maintenance Director for their Technical Operations Department at their Paidge Avenue Brooklyn, NY location.

Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.

Purpose:

Provide leadership while also establishing business strategy and tactics for daily oversight of plant services in the East. Be a liaison and collaborator with cross-departmental business partners to ensure services are delivered on time, with quality and within cost expectations. Be the primary accountable leader for achieving, repair and maintenance goals and holding results at levels consistent with Time Warner Cable expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Establish and manage to key operating and reliability metrics, including outage resolution time, plant technician productivity, mean time to repair, and report on the achievement of these results.

- Establish and maintain strong and effective communication channels with TOC, RNOC, Tech Ops, Customer Service, Dispatch, Engineering, Construction, and other relevant departments.

- Establish and maintain an active preventative maintenance program for the plant network from the node to customer. This program will need independent data analysis, including such mechanisms as the node health report. Included in this will be an active partnership with Engineering and Construction to manage back to the hub site. Establish a standard methodology to gather data, analyze, trend, forecast and report results in a geographically-based format as well as in a regional summation snapshot.

- Responsible for developing and managing to annual operating budgets. Included in this are use of staffing models and overtime management.

- Balance business objectives, technology, future plans, and availability of resources to optimize business results.

Leadership Skills:

- 7-10 years leadership experience required

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree preferred.

- 7-10 years of technical and/or outside plant operations experience required.

Legal/Financial Responsibilities:

Requires adherence to Time Warner Standards of Business Conduct. Position must assist in maintaining the confidentiality of customer and business data at all times.
