Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Service Provider to SLAs and continuous improvement in both production support and application maintenance/enhancements.

• Prioritization of new demand requests; authoring Business Requirements Documents; assisting the business with benefits case for larger projects and/or guiding on-shore off-shore vendors to deliver the same.

• Understanding of finance business processes and requirements.

• Authoring BRD, assisting the business with benefits case for larger projects.

• Analyzing functionality gaps and developing alternatives.

• Developing / reviewing delivery Project Plans with Service providers.

• Configuration, Unit and Integration testing or reviewing the work done by the service providers to ensure quality.

• Resolution of cross functional issues with different user groups and teams.

• Preparation of functional specifications or review of vendor prepared specifications for quality, accuracy and completeness.

• Coordination with development team and monitor the progress of developing activities and updating the status with respective teams.

• Provide user training where appropriate.

• Co-ordination with Super users in resolving the issues that arises during user training.

• Offer assistance to production support team in case any L3 or L4 support is required.

• Provide effective scope and issue management.

• Ability to communicate complex issues and solution alternatives to users.

• Managing projects utilizing IT Project Life Cycle methodology when appropriate.

• Manage a host of deliverables with a service provider and ensure ownership and accountability for the deliverable.

• Exceptional Communication skills, written and verbal.

Desired Skills and Experience

• 8+ Years of experience in HR application administration (Workday or Hyperion).

• 3-5 experience in any or all of Hyperion suit of application such as Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management (FDMEE), Hyperion Data Relationship Management (DRM), and Hyperion Financial Reporting (HFR).

• Experience as end user or developer in HFM and/or Essbase at minimum.

• Experience managing relational database applications, specifically SQL Server.

• Experience managing multi-tier (application-database-web) Windows Server-based applications.

• Co-ordinating with external vendors (integration with target systems such as Fidelity, ADP, Kronos, USCIS, hire rite).

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, or appropriate combination of education and experience.

• Completed at least 2 full cycle implementations of Workday/PeopleSoft or any HR application.

• Demonstrated ability in the Hyperion suite of applications.

• Excellent client facing and presentation skills.

• Committed to a high level of customer service to internal clients.
