We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Assembleyman.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

A Production and Equipment Company in St. Rose is looking for an Assemblyman to start immediately!

Job description:
Properly execute manual shop hand procedures as well as other general production duties per the appropriate work instructions.

Duties and responsibilities:
Ability to identify any fault in product or production process or in relation to any material or equipment, then notifying management.
Ability to manually assemble parts/equipment in an efficient manner based on previously designed instructions.
Meet production demands and complete work orders in a timely manner.
Maintain shop, equipment, tools, etc. For the purpose of ensuring the availability and functioning of required items and ensuring safety.
Ability to communicate with supervisors and production manger
Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, sitting, walking, and standing inside of a non-climate controlled warehouse.
Follows Instructions as presented for the production department. Work with Shipping & Quality Control to maximize productivity and quality of the production team. When work instructions do not seem feasible or are in need of change, the Assemblymen will present conflicts to the Production Manager for submission to the "Change Review Board" for modification of Work Instruction.
Importance: Management position. Stop work authority. High Integrity. Strong work ethic.
Past experience in metal fabrication. Ability to perform necessary shop math. Ability to read and understand drawings and process plans.
Perform tasks/duties in accordance with approved verbal/written work instructions, policies & procedures to ensure quality standards and objectives established for each department, product & overall organization are achieved.
Must be knowledgeable and able to comply with disaster plan, fire and safety procedures.
Assist customers and co-workers as needed according to established policies and procedures.
Attend all mandatory in-services, meetings and training.
Attend and participate in workshops and continuing education programs as required/assigned.
Work cooperatively with co-workers and other departments.
Maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance and adhere to any dress code of the position.

Temp to Perm
Hours: Monday thru Friday, 8: 00am-5: 00pm - must be flexible
Compensation: $12.00/hr. - $15.00/hr. DOE
High School Diploma or GED
Background Check and Drug Screen Required
