POSITION PURPOSE:

The HR Service Design Sr. Analyst works collaboratively across HR and IT to document business processes, define requirements and manage the successful implementation of process/system changes.  They will be responsible for documenting the change management strategy to ensure key stakeholders are ready to accept process/system changes. This may include conducting training on the new process so that departments receive maximum benefit from a process and system changes, answering process and system questions and resolving issues. They must be willing to invest the time to have in-depth knowledge about the business areas they support and be comfortable discussing change impacts and issues.  This role acts as a liaison between the business areas and the technical community.

MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitates business requirements definition and functional specifications meetings ensuring that the end solution meets the business requirements
  • Defines and maps HR processes
  • Develops functional requirements to meet business objectives
  • Partners with IT to ensure understanding and translation into technical requirements
  • Ensures that all system and process impacts are identified and transitioned to change management, training and knowledgebase teams in a timely manner.
  • Develops change management deliverables, including but not limited to stakeholder analysis, impact assessment, communication approach and planning, and development of post go-live sustainability plans.
  • Implements services changes including leading the testing and deployment of systems and services and the transition of staff and services
  • Ability to take an issue, then plan and deliver a solution using own initiative, with little guidance
  • Ability to quickly identify project risks and mitigate accordingly
  • Defines and documents business activities for the overall system implementation project plan
  • Manages the business component of the overall system implementation project plan

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be eighteen years of age or older.

Must pass the Drug Test.

Must pass the Background Check.

Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable.

EDUCATION REQUIRED 
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job. 

YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE - 05

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
 
Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about; occasionally there may be a need to stoop or lift light objects (typically less than 8 pounds). 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
3 years HR experience preferred HR consulting experience preferred

Organized Ability to juggle multiple priorities and projects Good project management and strategic planning abilities
