About this job

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: filing of warranty claims, seeking out warranty and other cost recovery opportunities, analyzing contracts, investigating, evaluating and the pursuit of potential warranty claims. Develops and establishes cost recovery strategies and negotiates favorable outcomes to warranty claim settlements.

Preference will be given to the candidate with airframe/engine experience/training.

Demonstrated ability to establish effective business relationships with AA business partners. Experience with AA contract business partners helpful -- field station, maintenance or corporate.

Demonstrated follow-through and ability to work on multiple projects. Enthusiastic and a self-starter.

Qualifications

2 years of experience, preferably in a related aviation maintenance support position (Records, Planning, etc.) or v alid Airframe/Powerplant certificate(s) or related Associate's Degree required. Strong problem solving skills; experience with administering action plans. Knowledge of contract terms and pricing preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Access) - Candidate with SAP Parts 360, AAPICS, DECS, COGNOS, Jetnet software/systems helpful. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent team building skills. Airline industry technical knowledge/experience helpful.
