# Description




The Manager IT is responsible for the management of the Oracle EBS team in IT, ensuring policies and procedures of the Information Technology department are adhered to for their respective area. The Manager IT coordinates these activities through both direct and indirect staff, including relationship management of 3 rdparty providers, vendors, and consultants, and assisting his/her Director with the overall management of the area the Director leads.





· Manages the internal and external staff on his/her team. Responsible for the hiring, training, and development of the internal team members. Conducts periodic evaluations of professional staff to assess their performance against specific objectives and leadership competencies, as well as ensuring that all department standards / procedures are followed and maintained. Responsible for communicating strategy and direction of the IT department to his/her team

* At times, will plan, organize and control the execution of the projects and initiatives in a functional team within IT. Reviews and provides direction on all project framework deliverables. Responsible for communicating and/or reporting the status of all projects to senior IT leadership, and the business community. Leads the team in project management principles and techniques

* Partners with the business user(s) and IT leadership to review and evaluate all requests for services, assisting in identifying and defining business information needs

* Ensures that all functions and activities are performed in accordance with accepted department standards and procedures. This includes ensuring that all 3 rdparty providers, vendors, and/or consultants are delivering and meeting our standards, in accordance to: Service Level Agreements, Statements of Work, and all agreed upon contracts

* Forecasts service demands in order to anticipate staffing levels and resource needs, including the skill requirements needed, as well as the technology needs

* Responsible to provide input and oversee the creation of technical roadmaps for their functional area(s)




# Qualifications





1. B.S. degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) required. Masters of Science or Technology preferred

2. Experience with Oracle Applications 11i/12i modules preferred

3. In-depth knowledge of Oracle EBS Financials, and Procurement Modules

4. Minimum 7 years of Oracle Financials experience

5. Provide subject matter expertise on the functionality and capabilities of Oracle EBS

6. Participate in architectural and design reviews of major projects

7. Oversee the analysis, design, programming, debugging, and modification of in-house developed customizations and base Oracle EBS software

8. Effectively estimate the Oracle EBS resources and participants needed to achieve development goals

9. Manage the day-to-day activities of the Oracle EBS development/support resources

10. Effectively resolve Oracle EBS production issues in a timely manner by rapidly organizing and deploying the appropriate resources

11. Maintain best practices and guidelines for user support processes
Ensure associated business risks are mitigated and encourage best practices in systems setup and maintenance by working to optimize system processes

12. Manage proper change management and issue resolution documentation.

13. Ensure that coding practices are defined and thoroughly enforced and assess any impact on deployed business systems and solutions
