This position is responsible for supporting the overall Walt Disney Parks & Resorts Public Affairs strategy through the use of video. This position will provide support to the WDP&R Internal Communications, Public Affairs and Line of Business operations partners as necessary to support both the needs of the client and the Cast. Responsibilities Assist in developing and executing plans to support WDP&R Public Affairs projects. Assist WDP&R Public Affairs team with execution of video shoots Assist in the management of video assets. Assist with producing video shoots. Edit video content as needed (Premiere Pro experience preferred). Basic Qualifications Must have a minimum G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated strong partnering skills Must be open to working flexible hours including weekends and evenings Extensive knowledge of the Walt Disney World Resort Preferred Qualifications Previous internship experience in video production Proven self starter and with the ability to balance multiple priorities Demonstrated proficiency editing with Adobe Premiere Pro Demonstrated computer proficiency within a Mac environment Demonstrated proficiency with video equipment, including cameras, microphones and lighting. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects. Required Education Currently enrolled as a junior or higher, or graduated within 6 months at the time of application, in a college/university, earning a degree in Video, Public Affairs, Marketing or similar major Additional Information Materials Required:

Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months of the application date of the internship for which you are applying for OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship Must be at least 18 years of age Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program. Note: Once you have completed one consecutive year of employment on a Disney internship or program, there must be a minimum 6 month gap before the start of a new internship or program Must possess unrestricted work authorization Must provide full work availability Must provide own transportation to/from work in Orlando, FL area Current Active Disney cast members must meet Professional Internship transfer guidelines (for Walt Disney World cast members this is no more than four points and one reprimand in the last six months; for Disneyland cast members this is six months of consecutive service and a performance record clear of any disciplinary issues (warnings, suspensions, etc.) for at least six months) Program Length: The approximate dates of this internship are January 2016 through June 2016.
