Certified Surgery Tech - Gerber Memorial, part time - Full-time / Part-time

The Surgery Tech, Certified assists in the nursing care and preparation of the surgical patient. The technician assists in creating and maintaining a sterile field. They assist the surgeon on the operative field through the assembling and issuing of instrumentation, and provides retraction as needed. The technician also assists the surgeon during endoscopic procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

Education - High School Diploma or GED, Graduate from a certified surgical technician program

Licenses - Surgical Tech -- Certified (SURG TECH) within 90 Days of hire

Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 Days of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience - 1 year of experience in Surgical scrub setting
