Global Corporate Services -- MBA Program

Global Corporate Services MBA Mission Statement:

To champion Global Corporate Services associate development through experimental learning, training, and networking opportunities. This will empower employees early in their careers to manage their professional development, realize their potential, and maximize their contributions to Bank of America. Functions supported within Global Corporate Services are category management, third party administration, corporate workplace, and support services. The program is a 2 year leadership development program that focuses on key skills in managing risk and business control functions across sourcing, vendor, and workplace functions. It is intended to pipeline future leaders with MBAs and robust prior experiences.

Training:

Employees will participate in enterprise and Global Corporate Services orientation programs as well as formal learning curriculum to learn more about the bank's business, culture and values. The training curriculum offers a blend of classroom and web-based training, which complements the hands-on experience that the participants develop in their rotational assignments. Employees will have the opportunity to network with executives, program alumni and other program participants throughout the program. Additionally, employees will be assigned executive and peer mentors throughout their rotational assignments.

Enterprise Job Description: The GCS MBA Program is a leadership development program for recent MBA graduates. The associate is a graduate hired to gain the expertise critical to building a career within our Global Corporate Services organization. The associate will work on activities in Supplier Management, Supplier Development, Change Management and/or Real Estate Operations, Management, Strategy and Tactical Planning. These activities may include category management, contract development and negotiation, risk analysis, cost and spend analysis, contract and supplier management, project management, governance and reporting. Associates are responsible for coordinating with various other departments to include: legal, compliance, risk, finance, audit, quality and productivity, and multiple lines of business and levels of management. Associates must maintain a customer-focus, meet quality standards for timeliness and accuracy and follow GCS policies and procedures. Associates must be able to work independently and in groups. Associates may lead projects requiring the associate to make independent decisions on courses of action for the project. Associates may be called upon to act as a team leader. Qualifications include an MBA degree and must have a minimum of 3 years of work experience.

Required Skills:

MBA degree from an accredited college or university with a graduation timeframe between December 2015 and June 2016

Undergraduate degree in Business, Real Estate, Supply Chain, or other related professional degree

3 or more years of work experience

Leadership, professional presentation and communication skills with a high degree of integrity and accuracy

Advanced financial and analytical skills, including interpretation of complex data for conclusions or solutions

Strong technical skills, including working knowledge of tools such as Excel, Access, and PowerPoint

Unlimited authorization to work in the United States; Bank of America is unable to consider candidates that will require visa sponsorship now, or in the future for this specific role
