Responsibilities:
Perform various functions in support of warehouse operation, including shipping, loading and delivery of flooring products. Position requires a high level of skill and knowledge of multiple aspects of warehouse operations.
Lifting 40+ pounds numerous times during the work shift
Reaching 30" to pick up tile cartons and adhesive approximately 50 times /day
Locate cartons /rolls from bins to trailers
Check pick list as pieces are loaded w/ resulting clerical work
Removes cutting tickets from rolls / checks against pick list
Loads cartons and small cuts into correct trailer
Withdraws tile orders from inventory / stretchwraps / pallets as required / loads onto trailer
Other functions that may be assigned
Qualifications:
At least 1 year of experience as a Warehouse Associate I.
Operate forklift equipment and pass the Mohawk lift truck certification test.
Ability to operate banding and wrapping machines in assigned facility.
Working knowledge of AS400 system.
Extensive knowledge of inventory and cycle count procedures.
Dependable with good attendance record.
High School graduate
Competent Reading /Writing skills as appropriate
Must be able to work assigned shift
Ability to lift 40 +pounds
Reaching 30" numerous times during the shift
