Job Description

Assists healthcare providers and customers. Transports patients to the appropriate location as directed. Assists patients with mobility needs (i.e. transfers and ambulation) as directed. Listens to patients concerns and needs and communicates to the appropriate party. Assists healthcare provider in administering treatments to t he patient (i.e. exercise, set-up, whirlpool set-up, hot pack set-up) as directed by the therapist. Performs various activities to ensure smooth and efficient departmental operations. Maintains and orders necessary supplies. Cleans patient care items and/or areas as directed. Notifies appropriate party of any equipment issues. Completes patient charges in a timely manner. Maintain patient charts as needed to ensure timely communications to other parties involved in the patient cares. Assists in clerical duties as requested.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience : Some hospital attendant experience is preferred. Education: High school graduation or equivalent required.

License or Certification:

Exemption Status: Non-exempt

Hours/Pay Period: 72

Schedule Details: M / W 8-5:30

T / Th / F 8-2:30

Weekend Schedule: Occasional weekends

Compensation Detail: The minimum rate of pay for this position is 12.43 per hour.
