Job Description
The Patient Care Technician assists staff with delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care which supports and complements nursing practice under the supervision of a registered nurse. The Patient Care Technician carries out delegated skills that are within those functions limited by law to unlicensed nursing personnel.
Basic Qualifications:
Current active status on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry and must maintain active status.
License or Certification:
Benefit Eligible: No
Exemption Status: Non-exempt
Hours/Pay Period: 32
Schedule Details: This position will be for day/evening shifts. Employee will also be responsible for working every 3rd weekend covering night shifts. The staff are also expected to be in the holiday rotation.
Weekend Schedule: Must be available to work every 3rd weekend and rotate holidays with coworkers.
