Buyer/Supply Chain Professional Job

Buyer/Supply Chain Professional needed for a direct hire opportunity with Yoh's client located in Plano Texas.

- Supply Chain
- electronics manufacturing industry experience.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Purchase material for inventory and non-stock items to support customer orders and engineering development.
- Prepare RFQ's, obtain and evaluate quotes, and negotiate terms and conditions.
- Manage purchase orders and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
- Plan and manage inventory levels of purchased materials.
- Maintain part master in the ERP system including lead times, price, MOQ and Supplier
- Actively plan and execute cost reduction opportunities.
- Conduct physical inventory counts and reconcile results with inventory records.
- Determine reorder points and ensure that sufficient levels of inventory are maintained.
- Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

- Bachelor's degree in Business or a Supply Chain related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 5-10 years of related experience.
- Prior experience in electronics manufacturing industry.
- Experience in sourcing, negotiation, vendor management.
- Experience working with MRP software.
- Experience with ISO or other Quality Systems.
- Must be able to multi-task and work well with others.
- Strong intellectual honesty, with the ability to deliver and receive constructive criticism.
- Ability to Travel (<20%).
- Proficient in MS-Office.
