Laborer/Sanitation
-Temp position with the possibility of permanent placement.
-Work Schedule: M-F 9:00 am-5:00 pm
-Pay Rate: $10.00 per hour
-Successful candidate will be trained to perform the job and will be trained in proper sanitation/cleaning procedures.
-Will be trained on operation of machinery and what to look for as machinery is cleaned.
-Will work off of daily sanitation checklists.
-Will follow instructions of supervisor.
-Will clean daily utensils.
-Will maintain GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) while in the plant.
-Will be trained to operate a floor scrubber and will be running it on a weekly basis.
-Must perform duties in a neat and orderly manner.
-Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to wet, warm and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts. The noise level is moderate. Smoking is permitted on premises. Lunchroom on site; bring lunch.
-Physical Demands: Must be able to lift and maneuver 20-50 lbs without physical restriction; stand 90% of the time and walk 10%of the time.
-Attire: Blue Jeans/T-Shirt, sneakers or work boots. Steel Toes not required. NO jewelry permitted; only exception is basic wedding band. MUST wear hair nets in the facility.
-Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. -Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or at least one year related experience and/or training, or equivalent education and experience.
