You asked for it, we got it! Universal Orlando Warehouse Persons (Merchandise) receive (weigh, measure, count), store and distribute all goods and related supplies to various venues throughout property. Warehouse Persons, Merchandise ensure we have quality products by checking for damaged goods. 


Warehouse Persons (Merchandise) at Universal Orlando are responsible for:

  • Completing all required forms and paperwork and delivering urgent orders to various food and/or merchandise locations in the resort. 
  • Maintaining various pieces of equipment and keeping a clean and orderly work area while following established safety practices. 
  • Alerting management of any damaged goods.
  • Understanding and actively participating in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established Universal Orlando policies, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities. 
  • Performing other duties as assigned.



To perform the role of a Warehouse Person (Merchandise) successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Consistent attendance and punctuality is required.
  • Some high school education required.
  • 0-1 year related work experience preferred. Must be able to lift heavy items; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Individuals must have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. 
  • Ability to write simple correspondence. 
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Individuals must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Individuals must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. 
  • Individuals must have a valid Florida driver’s license, with the ability to operate all warehouse vehicles. Individuals should have excellent health and observable strength to withstand lifting, walking, and standing for long periods of time.


The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of the Warehouse Person (Merchandise) job.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the individual is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk or hear; handle or feel objects, tools or controls; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; reach with hands and arms. 
  • The individual must regularly lift and/or move up to or over 100 pounds. 
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision; distance vision; color vision; peripheral vision; depth perception; ability to adjust focus.


The work environment characteristics described below are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of the Warehouse Person (Merchandise) job.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the individual is regularly exposed to: wet, humid conditions (non-weather), work near moving mechanical parts, work in high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, outdoor weather conditions, extreme cold (non-weather).
  • While performing this job, the noise level in the work environment may be high.
