We're currently seeking a for a Materials Handler 2 contract opportunity in Walpole, MA . This is a great opportunity to work with one of the world’s leading suppliers of a wide range of products, solutions and services in the field of energy technology.

Description

This position is responsible for ensuring materials are available for manufacturing requirements. Utilizing manufacturing queries and replenishment reports to reconcile orders and order product through SAP and internal warehouse. Verify quantities and stock appropriately. Track expired materials and help ensure that they are removed before use. The job requires daily physical inventory counting for Bldg. 3 MFG. This requirement will entail the daily inventory checks per SAP/excel spread sheet, with some investigating steps to help resolve any inventory discrepancies. Inventory investigations will include the use of SAP and daily interaction with internal warehouses. This position is also responsible for ensuring that Bldg. 3 MFG equipment calibrations and maintenance are performed per GMP,MFG requirements. This includes maintaining equipment log books associated with each piece of equipment to ensure that all documentation is completed by GMP, MFG requirements. Job requires the use of CERDAAC software program to enter calibration & work order records for equipment, track equipment issues and request repairs. The job also requires evaluate and monitor chart recorders and eye wash stations. This position interacts with numerous manufacturing and engineering departments including technicians,
manufacturing supervisors, planning, purchasing, IQA, pilot teams and warehouse staff.

Education:

HS diploma or equivalent required.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This is a 11 month+ contract position.
