Position Description
The duties expected for the OA position are described below: Site Maintenance - Assist in facility and equipment maintenance to include the following: General site cleanup, housekeeping, and fence repair. Equipment and instrument maintenance, repair, and storage. Maintain site records including equipment, maintenance, administrative, and safety files. Facility painting. Vegetation control (mowing). Equipment inventory. Environmental Sampling - Assists in groundwater and gas sampling. This will require a 40-hour OSHA Hazmat Class. Responsibilities will include sample bag and bottle preparations. Sample collection, packaging, and shipping. The OA will also assist in pump pulling and installation. The OA will also conduct or assist in groundwater elevation surveys.
Operation Assistance - Assists Site Senior Technician in routine operational tasks. This may include directing compressed air into wells or collecting groundwater to the appropriate storage areas. He will also conduct data collection and recording and monitor instrumentation for site operations. He will assist the site supervisor in installing piping and instrumentation.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
