***Starting Pay $10.85 ***

Responsibilities:

Operates wind-up machine to roll up and cut carpet pad

Operates curtain wrap machine in conjunction with wind-up for packaging product

Records amount of material moving through the assigned area

Monitors roll for quality defects such as thickness, etc.

Ensures work area and equipment are clean and operational

Performs general housekeeping duties

Performs other duties as required

Qualifications:

High school graduate or GED equivalency preferred.

Prior Lift Truck & Manufacturing experience preferred.

Reads and writes in standard English

Profecint in performing math skills:add,, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, decimals, and fractions.

Successful completion of all on the job training.

Successful completion of all required health and environmental safety training.

Ability to communicate in standard English to understand and follow verbal or written instructions and to keep simple records and make reports.

Ability to maintain an acceptable level of attendance in accordance with company and department guidelines. Ability to perform specific duties with instructions but without direct supervision. Ability to maintain a valid driver's license. Must be an effective team member. Good oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with employees in the immediate unit and in related support roles. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating or maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, decimals, and fractions. Requires a high degree of mental and visual attention to perform all tasks in a safe manner.
