Role in Company
- Managing Front of House (FOH) operations within the guidelines set by the General Manager
- Interacting with guests and employees to ensure customer satisfaction
Core Responsibilities
- Resolving customer service issues
- Reporting any equipment issues to the GM
- Providing motivation and support for employees
- Consulting the General Manager regarding addition or termination of employees
- Enforcing District Taco’s safe food handling practices
- Maintaining quality by monitoring staff and sampling products at different stages
- Overseeing Catering orders
- Filing disciplinary action forms for any employee issues
- Assigning tasks to Front of House staff
- Coordinating employee breaks and clocking-out employees as needed
- Ensuring that all cash is counted and logged throughout shifts
- Checking tickets and completed dishes periodically for quality control
- Communicating concerns and needs with supervisors and staff
- Delegating tasks when opening and closing the restaurant
- Updating Shift Notes daily
