About this job
The Maintenance Technician performs all general facility maintenance under minimum supervision in a manner which ensures the preservation of optimum quality and efficient production. Perform service requests and repairs as directed. Perform maintenance work for make-ready units as directed. Clean and inspect in building systems and report deficiencies to supervisor. Adhere to the company's safety programs.
* High school graduate
*Fully bilingual (English and Spanish)
*Trade school or college degree or course, strongly preferred.
* At least 2 year in role or similar role in a hotel, strongly preferred
*Ability to complete work orders
*Ability to take direction and complete tasks
*Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize assignments
*Basic PC skills preferred
*Able to work with small hand tools and some electric tools.
*Able to work in hot and cold environment, including inside and outside of a building.
*Able to lift and move heavy objects.
*Able to walk, stand, bend during the entire shift.
*Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays and nights.
