Business Systems Analyst needed for a direct hire opportunity with Yoh's client located in Washington DC.


Top Skills Should You Possess:



    - 4 years progressively responsible professional business systems analysis experience.
    - Experience defining complex logic, testing and verifying the validity of the information.
    - Experience interviewing users and interpreting primary documents to determine business requirements.
    - Defining and writing specifications, interfacing with technical staff in the design, development, testing and implementation of computer systems.

What You'll Be Doing:



    - The primary responsibilities of the position include defining complex business requirements; identifying and implementing efficient procedures for the processing, storage, and retrieval of data regarding the Client's members, affiliates, and financial obligation in consultation with CLIENT and state affiliate staff and providing business process and application support to users.
    - The incumbent works collaboratively with the Client's Information Technology Services (ITS) department by delineating system requirements to conform to CLIENT and state affiliate by-laws and policy and federal and state law.
    - The incumbent consults with CLIENT staff and state affiliates to develop creative business application solutions to record, process and store membership data.
    - The incumbent provides consultation and user support to CLIENT and affiliate staff regarding software applications and business standards and practice.
    - The incumbent assists CLIENT and state affiliate staff in interpreting, using and improving the presentation of information.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:



    - Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of at least a Bachelor's degree and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills may be obtained.
    - Four (4) years progressively responsible professional business systems analysis experience. Experience must include application systems development and implementation.
    - Experience writing user and technical documentation.
    - Experience developing and delivering user training and presentations.
    - Samples of written work product will be required at time of interview.
    - Travel up to 15-20 days a year.
    - Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, maintaining and supporting complex applications.
    - Demonstrated experience defining requirements or user stories, designing, testing and delivering business systems.
    - Expertise in the design, customization, documentation, training and support of membership, accounting, business or financial applications.
    - Demonstrated experience working with relational databases.
    - Proven experience using query report tool and developing reports.
    - Demonstrated experience presenting effective written, oral, and visual presentations of complex technical, statistical information and training content to diverse audiences.
    - Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite.
    - Effective oral and written communication, interpersonal and customer relation skills.
    - Demonstrated ability to handle multiple and complex projects simultaneously under stringent timelines and changing priorities and conditions.
    - Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams and independently.
