Summary/Objective

As Sales Associate you are responsible exceeding your assigned goals and KPI’s as prescribed by AVAIL Vapor. You will be expected to live the spirit of AVAIL Vapor in all interactions external and internal. You will be expected to ensure that you adhere to the policies and procedures as designated by AVAIL Vapor.

Sales:

  3. Know and abide by everything in our AVAIL Vapor Employee Handbook and Operations Manual, which includes but is not limited to: timeliness, dress code, and personal conduct.
  4. Stay informed on the features and benefits of current devices and “juices”. Be an authority.
  5. Engage in the ongoing training and development of yourself with a commitment to constant improvement which will drive you to consistently exceed goals and achieve all KPIs.
  6. Other responsibilities as assigned.

Operational and Procedural:

  1. Weekly – Follow prescribed schedules as posted by the Store Management Team.
  2. Daily – Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of your Store.
  3. Daily - Assist in the visual set up of your Store

Store Environment:

  1. Assist in making Store clean, well lit, dust/dirt free and prepared to “WOW” customers.
  2. Go through the Communications Binders every day to insure you are current in all communications from Corporate, District or the Store Management team.
  3. Assist in making sure that your Store is set to Plan-o-gram and merchandising standards.
  4. Assist in making sure that back of house (offices, store rooms, bathrooms, etc.) are as clean and well-kept as your sales floor.

TIME ALLOCATION OF POSITION
Sales generation Personal - 95%
Store operations functions - 5%

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Education and/or Experience -Minimum of one year prior specially retail sales experience or similar related experience. A High School diploma is preferred, but not necessary.
  • Mathematical Ability - Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Written Communication – Writes clearly and informatively; Edits work for spelling and grammar; Varies writing style to meet needs; Presents numerical data effectively; Able to read and interpret written information
