SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
Responsible for all facets of store operations by performing the following duties:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
People:
Responsible for evaluating staffing needs
Utilizes recruiting and hiring tools
Prepares and conducts interviews
Conducts orientation for new employees
Implements an effective training and coaching programs
Conducts performance reviews
Oversees monthly safety committee meeting
Completes weekly schedules ensuring proper staffing needs
Reviews time punches for accuracy
Sets clear defined goals for team members
Customers:
Uses daily manager travel paths to evaluate and maintain a clean store
Insures uniform policy and hygiene standards are being met
Accountable for serving high quality products by following approved methods of food handling procedures for receiving, storing and prepping foods
Responsible for setting the mood and tone of the store
Ensures store is Rush Ready and creates an environment of a High Volume Mentality
Accountable for resolving customer complaints quickly and effectively
Responsible for optimizing speed of service needs by using best practices guidelines and identifying root causes of issues
Guarantees key station tasks are communicated and executed properly
Sales:
Ensures prep crew performance standards are met in regards to quality and timeliness
Accountable for training team members in suggestive selling
Holds team members accountable for performance standards and meeting sales goals
Understands the importance of the customer ALWAYS comes first
Ensures all product leaving the premise is of the highest quality
Accountable for creating a hospitality vs service culture
Ensures current POP is properly displayed to reflect current promotions and specials
Profits:
Ensures safe count and daily bank deposits are completed and accurate
Responsible for training proper cash handling procedures
Conducts a weekly cash/discount/employee meal audit
Completes accurate weekly inventories
Ensures labor best practices are in place and adhered to
Responsible for reviewing daily and weekly sales reports to verify accuracy
Understands the concept of cash flow management and knows how to manage store related expenses and looks for ways to reduce costs
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrates the ability to run great shifts
Demonstrates the ability to problem solve
Must be able to hold team members accountable to Papa Murphy's standards
Able to put a LSM plan in place and execute the plan
Must hold a High School diploma or equivalent
Must meet local Food Safety requirements or be ServSafe certified
