Feeder Dispatch Lead

We have a opening for a Feeder Dispatch Lead.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Manpower is currently recruiting for a Feeder Dispatch Lead position for one of our clients in Uniondale, New York!

Job Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the dispatch activity to ensure timely and proficient service
• Monitor dispatch schedules to ensure adequate staffing for transportation needs
• Track dispatch modifications
• Review reports and analyze data to create plans to maximize dispatch results
• Monitor load movement to identify cost reductions, will review drivers hours of service
• Oversee yard operations; staffing, shifter performance, verifies trailers are loaded and empty and confirms trailer inventory

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of six months experience in the field or in a related area
• Knowledgeable in Trailer Forecasting Control System
• Able to track trailer movements for bypass and destined work
• Has understanding of D.O.T. hours of service and can account for drivers who are assigned to
• Must be able to add/edit a driver's schedule
• Has previous knowledge of HFCS and its functionality

• Location: Uniondale, New York 11553
• Length of Contract: Two months
• Working Hours: 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm
