Parts & Service Manager

Manpower is assisting a local client in their search for a Parts & Service Manager. The successful candidate will manage the Service Departments consisting of heavy, general gas, and diesel equipment. He/she will ensure that customer service is the number one priority of the mechanics and service technicians that turn rented equipment back to rental ready. He/ she will assist and monitor the critical parts acquisition process by guiding his/ her staff to efficiently analyze repair problems, and periodic service requirements. Equipment that is brought in for repair must be dealt with in a highly efficient manner to guarantee customer satisfaction. Field repair of Equipment is critical to the cost effective management of our assets and our reputation. Recommendations will be an on-going responsibility for equipment purchases/sales, based on maintenance records, and rental equipment utilization. Additional Requirements: Applicant will have 2-5 years of demonstrated managerial experience as well as a strong mechanical aptitude and skill set. Strong general computer skills required. Salary commensurate with proven track record. Must successfully complete reference checks, and a background check. Commercial Driver's License a plus; Chauffeur's License a must.
