Process Technician

Manpower, Inc. of SE Michigan is currently seeking a process technician for our client in Chelsea, MI. This position has the potential to become direct hire and pays $15.00 - $21.00 per hour. Hours for this position are 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. Job duties include: *Set-up and troubleshoot processes *Monitor operations processes *Solve daily production and technical processing issues *Develop and maintain the process standards in which all parts are manufactured *Perform routine maintenance on machines and molds *Ensure that products manufactured in the department meet or exceed all established quality requirement *Create plans to achieve company goals *Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; comply with legal regulations; follow lean principles for the Injection Molding department *Identify opportunities for Continuous Improvement *Apply the corrective action process when discrepancies / non-conformances are detected. *Address quality and maintenance issues, and follow up with corrective actions *Other duties as assigned Preferred qualifications: *5+ years of experience in a technical injection molding role *Must have well-rounded experience in all facets of injection molding *Must be able to set dies, assemble dies, etc. *Able to work with relevant machinery to set-up and maintain manufacturing operations *Experience with dryers, thermolators, and granulators *Experience performing maintenance on injection molding machines and other equipment *Excellent problem solving skills *Strong verbal and written communication skills *Proven ability to follow processes and procedures *Dependable and has excellent attendance *Must be a team player Manpower associates on assignment have access to a great benefit package including weekly paychecks, an insurance program, anniversary/holiday pay, training opportunities, direct deposit/paycard, tuition/certification reimbursement, and much more!
